Rise and shine as we wake up in the Orchard Glory Farm Resort. We first had our breakfast at the
hall. Then we went straight to Farmer Keith truck where his baby goats are.We fed them, milked
them and even carried them as if they were like a small child!
After that,we walked down the path leading to his farm,on the way,we saw many different animals,
such as the horses, rams, llamas and alpacas. We fed the horses with carrots, rams with special leaves
provided by Farmer Keith, llamas and alpaca seed like oats!
Moving on to the Winery, we learned
from Farmer Keith how wine is made,it was a long process and
I did not have my notebook with me so I did not take the steps down but we still got the chance to do
the last stage of making wine, BOTTLING!It was another long process but it got the job done. First,
we fill the glass bottle with wine.Second,we push the cork into the bottle using a machine. I was
unable to push it in so I called help from my group! With ease we pushed it in.Third we put a cover
on the cork. And last but not least, the labels! I got to know the name of the wine, Shiraz Grenache
2004.
We moved over to the field which was filled up with trees of oranges! He let us pick an orange each.
I plucked one and ate
it,it tasted joyful, sweet and filled with enlightenment! Of course we were allowed
to pick fruits beside our chalets such as the pomegranate and oranges, but the ones at the farm were
the best!
